POSITION
The Product Manager - Tax (m/f/d) will work across HRS with a focus on both the dashboard and API experience related to indirect tax returns. This is a new, highly cross-functional role with significant scope to make an impact. This product manager will also own the product roadmap and will be located in our Cologne, Bamberg or Berlin office.
CHALLENGE
Understand the client environment, determine the client’s interfaces and identify client responsibilities developing innovative, cross-functional strategic solutions to meet customer needs Translate business strategy into product strategy Own the product roadmap Manage product profitability & budget Execute product strategy. Ensure the product can be used as standard Ensure customer requirements are properly understood, documented and articulated with Product Owner and Development Teams. Develop solution design/interface/product as per customer requirements including handover/demo to the customer Manage Application Testing, Implementation and support for Operational Readiness Utilizing your ability to manage major technological changes with stakeholders at the end user level - change request management Manage all aspects of in-life products (new/only the extension of the exsiting product), including customer feedback, requirements and issues until the handover to operationsFOR THIS EXCITING MISSION YOU ARE EQUIPPED WITH...
5+ years of relevant work experience as a Product Manager in technical/platform teams, ideally in a tax/accounting environment Experience in driving roadmap strategy, definition, and execution, leading initiatives from ideation to adoption in a highly cross-functional environment Strong capability to collaborate with and support the engineering team Experience in making informed decisions based on engineering/platform KPIs and internal user research data Strong capability to identify and mitigating risks, as well as to handle operational matters with a hands-on/pragmatic approach Entrepreneurial mindset and can-do approach with a proven track record in taking ownership of problems independently and driving results and measurable business impact Empathy and strong collaboration skills, deeply caring for user problems with an ability to understand perspectives and needs of team members and stakeholders Inclusive and clear communication style with the ability to develop well-structured and data-informed narratives and documents Fluency in English language.PERSPECTIVE
